Silversea

Butler service in every suite, ships small enough for the harbours that matter and expedition voyages to the ends of the earth: Silversea covers the world, from Monte Carlo to the Antarctic Peninsula.

The line

Part of the Royal Caribbean Group, Silversea runs a fleet of about a dozen all-suite ships, split between classic voyages and expeditions. It sails to more than 900 destinations on all seven continents, including the Galápagos on its dedicated ship, Silver Origin.

The ships

The classic fleet ranges from the 392-guest Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper to the 728-guest Nova-class pair, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, with their asymmetric design and outward-facing venues. Expedition ships such as Silver Cloud, Silver Wind and Silver Endeavour carry small numbers to the polar regions.

Cabins and suites

Every suite has butler service, and most have a veranda. The Nova-class ships add aft-facing suites and floor-to-ceiling glass throughout.

Food and drink

Several restaurants, with the S.A.L.T. programme exploring local food and wine through menus, a lab and tastings. Drinks, including fine wines and spirits, are included.

Onboard life

Quiet, polished and social, with lectures, a spa and a good bar culture. Expedition voyages bring an expedition team, Zodiac landings and daily briefings.

Excursions

On classic voyages, the All-Inclusive Plus fare adds a shore excursion credit; on expeditions, guided landings and Zodiac outings are included.
